Barb is one the best organizers International Neighbors has ever had. In the days before online sign up, hundreds of international women would descend on the hall during IN’s Registration Day to be processed smoothly into our organization following color coded red, blue, and yellow dots and balloons. Thirty volunteers helped carry out her meticulous plan and affectionately nicknamed her “The General”. Afterwards Barb would review every aspect of the Fall Registration with the volunteer leaders to see what could be improved for the next year. A long time Board Member, she served as Vice President and Hostess Coordinator. In recent years, she has been the smiling face in the Welcome Corner at IN Day, the first encounter for many new international women with International Neighbors.
