Happy New Year!

We are so excited about all the possibilities open to us in 2025!

As you start this new year with hope and plans for a better, healthier future, I would like to remind you of all the tools already available to you at International Neighbors.

Here are some ways we can help you with your New Year’s Resolutions:


  • Start something new: Maybe you would like to improve your health by doing more exercise (Hello Hiking Group!) or enjoying more of your veggies (Hello Vegetarian Cooking Group!).

  • Challenge yourself: International Neighbors offers many ways in which you can challenge yourself - you can learn something new (have you ever knitted before?), you can improve your English language skills by talking to other members, you can improve your secondary or tertiary language skills by talking to native members in their own language (learning Japanese? Come talk to a Japanese member!).

  • Social interaction and connection opportunities: One of the constant tips experts recommend to maintain happiness and mental health is to keep connected to friends and family. Here in International Neighbors, we offer various opportunities for all our members to meet and make new friends - Conversation groups, Reading groups, Cooking groups, Tea Groups, IN Days and many, many more groups and occasions.

  • Organization and leadership positions: Maybe you are ready to help organize IN events and groups, or maybe even lead a group yourself? We are always grateful for your help in making this organization better!
