Janak Tirtha passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at All Seasons Ann Arbor.
She moved to the United States at a very young age to support her husband's career.
Janak was a very vibrant, talented and caring person who touched the lives of many. Janak had many passions in life. She enjoyed gardening, creative artistic drawings, and was an ardent knitter. She liked to stitch her own clothes! She showed her love through cooking Indian food for her family and friends. I still have some of her recipes! Her intelligence and curiosity always impressed me. She was social and always loved to be with friends. I will truly miss her.
Her legacy will live on through her children, son Rajiv, daughter Abha, and four grandchildren.
